The cost of war has run into some 1.2 trillion dollars, and experts are saying that total cost is well over 2 trillion. 1 Billion is a lot of money, 1 Trillion is too much money for any economy to sustain… 2++ trillion is probably the beginning of the end for US Empire.
In Surah Al-Anfal, verse 36 Allah SWT mentions:
The Unbelievers spend their wealth to hinder (man) from the path of Allah, and so will they continue to spend; but in the end they will have (only) regrets and sighs; at length they will be overcome: and the Unbelievers will be gathered together to Hell;- Quran 8:36
Since G.Bush and his allies do not believe in Allah (The One God), they are considered unbelievers too. So do the words of the Quran in this ayat talking about collapse of US Empire? US government is spending on war on terror so much that it is starting to affect its own economy.

The verse 36 of Anfal is for muslim like us to believe the word of Allah is true and now is proven by the Iraq war cost…thank you for the finding my friend.
