3 Years ago the same newspaper Jyllands Posten that published 12 caricatures of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) refused to publish lampooning Christ on the grounds that they could be offensive to readers. This proves once again that the purpose of publication of the cartoons was not about “Freedom of Speech” but to attack and mock our beloved Prophet Muhammad, and thus attacking the whole Muslim ummah. It’s a responsibility of every Muslim to protect Prophet Muhammad, and to voice out against these kind of attacks on our religion. Back to Islam encourages all Muslims to protest against the publication of caricatures in a peaceful way, please make your voices heard but please do not resort to violence. Allah (Most Exalted) loves those who protect His messenger and religion and He does not love aggressors.We want the Danish government to take action against Jyllands Posten and against the artists who drew the cartoons.
