Aljazeera reports: Gays march through Jerusalem

Hundreds of gay rights activists have marched in Jerusalem, prompting a counter-demonstration led by ultra-Orthodox Jews and denunciations by Muslim and Christian leaders

About 2,500 people took part in the Gay Pride march on Thursday, which went along a street that passes in front of the King David hotel.

“I am demanding my civil rights, including the right to get married and have children,” Guy Frishman, who took part in the march, said.

A police spokesman said 19 anti-gay protesters were arrested, with one ultra-Orthodox man detained on Thursday morning after being caught carrying explosives.

“In his bag we discovered a homemade explosive device. He admitted he planned to plant it on the route of the parade today,” Micky Rosenfeld said. read full story

It’s a shame that this is happening in Holy Land. If they (Zionists) are so much devoted to their Holy Books and want the Holy Land back, as promised in their books. Why not follow the same book and ban the gay parade?!! So much hypocrisy! After all, it’s not the promise of God they are seeking.
